Patrick Tegge is the SNAP-Ed program assistant for Athens County. He comes to extension with teaching experience having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, minor in leadership studies, and a 7-12 Social Studies teaching licenses from Marietta College. After College he served two years with COMCorps, an AmeriCorps program, focused on reducing childhood obesity in Athens through education, healthy food access, gardening, and primary health care services. After serving, he substitute taught in all the schools throughout Athens County. He is excited to be able to continue to teach health and wellness and work with the other organizations to continue to improve Athens County.
